About 

Electric Machine Games was founded by Carlton Forrester in 2024 to develop immersive 3D video games for PC. EMG's first project is "The Core", a story based, single-player, first-person shooter/puzzler which a focus on ambience and sound design.

Carlton has worked in the video game industry for 8 years and has developed multiple games for mobile platforms which have garnered over 250 million downloads worldwide. EMG is the product of Carlton's desire to transition from mobile to more immersive PC games.

Before game development, Carlton worked in software development for over two decades. During this time he worked for two Fortune 500 companies in the financial sector. After twelve years in the corporate world, he left to start his own business, Forrester Systems, to provide software development and creative services to small business clients.

Carlton’s interest in game development dates back to his childhood when he programmed small games for his Commodore 64 computer. In 2016, he began experimenting with game development again. Two years later, he had his first meeting with a major publisher.

Carlton lives in Virginia with his wife, four teenage kids, and his German Shepherd named Toby. His other interests include music, drone videography, and designing fireworks displays.
